This is to inform that as from 1st July, 2011 the new Visa fees will be as follows:-
- 40€ – Single Journey Visa
- 80€ – Double Journey visa
- 80€ – Multiple Journey visa (Valid for a year)
- 15€ – Transit Visa
- 10€- Reffered cases (Processing fee)
Please note that Children will also be required to have visas
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT VISITORS TO KENYA OBTAIN A VISA PRIOR TO TRAVEL.

Opening Hours
- The Consular Section is open from Monday to Friday; between 10 a.m – 1 p.m and between 3 p.m.-4 p.m.
- Telephone inquiries can be made from Monday-Friday between 9.30 a.m.-12.30 p.m. and between 2.30 p.m.-4.30 p.m.
- Visa Formalities for French and European Union Nationals
The following documents should be mailed to the Visa Section:
- Valid Passport (Minimum of six months validity)
- Visa application form duly completed
- Return ticket reservation and its copy
- 1 standard passport size photo (home made photos will not be accepted)
- Visa fee (payable only in cash)
- 40 Euros for a Single Entry Journey (Tourist or Business)
- 80 Euros for a Double Entry journey (Tourist or Business)
- For Multiple Entry Visas, please contact the Visa Section for ample explanation
- For a business visa, an official letter from the employer must be produced.
NB: Applications not meeting the above requirements will be considered INCOMPLETE and will not be accepted.
Applications by Post
The following documents should be mailed to the Visa Section:
- Valid passport (minimum six months validity)
- Visa application form duly filled
- A print out of the return ticket reservation
- 1 standard passport size photo (home made photos will not be accepted)
- Visa fee (payable only by postal money order)
- 40 Euros for a Single Entry Journey (Tourist or Business)
- 80 Euros for a Double Entry Journey (Tourist or Business)
- For Multiple Entry visas, please contact the Visa Section for ample explanation
- For a business visa, an official letter from the employer must be produced.
- Self addressed stamped envelope (registered mail tariff) for the return of the passport. The envelope must have sufficient return postage.
NB: Application not meeting the above requirements will be considered INCOMPLETE and will not be acted upon.
