The Ambassador of Pakistan to France, H.E Moin-Ul-Haque paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of Kenya, H.E Salma Ahmed on 20th January, 2017. The two noted that Kenya and Pakistan’s relations were historical and cordial.
During the meeting, areas of mutual interest to both countries were discussed particularly economic and development cooperation. Under economic relations, it was noted that Pakistan is a major export destination of Kenyan tea while Kenya is a key importer of rice from Pakistan. It was further noted that Kenya can benefit from the various courses and training programmes offered for junior level diplomats through development cooperation with Pakistan.
