The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in France wishes to inform all Kenyans of the 41st Schneider Electric Paris Marathon that will be held on Sunday 9th April 2017. Last year, Kenyans Visiline Jepkesho and Cyprian Kotut emerged first in their categories with a finish time of 2:25:52 and 2:07:11 respectively. This year, Kenyan runners make up the majority of the elite male and female runners participating in the marathon.
We are highly encouraging the Kenyan community to come and support our runners and promote Kenya’s visibility during one of the most prestigious marathons in the world. The race starts at 8.00 a.m. at Champs Elysées and the finishing line is on Avenue Foch at approximately 10.00 a.m.
Amb. Salma Ahmed, Ambassador of Kenya to France and the Embassy staff will be there to encourage and support Kenyan athletes to the finishing line on Avenue Foch.
LET US ALL JOIN TOGETHER IN SUPPORTING OUR ATHLETES.
